These dog stakeouts and chain are all made in the USA, out of high grade stainless steel, this means no rust and makes it easy to drive in the ground and easy to pull it up. The stakeout 3/4 inch rod is 24 inches long an comes with a lifetime warranty. Just send it back and I will send you another one.
